Conditioning in Soccer/Football

Soccer/Football is not Track&Field, you do not need to run at the same pace for all the game. Soccer is made of the change of directions, short distances in a short time, backward and forward. And I firmly think that a coach should never forget about the ball because without the ball you are not playing soccer. That is why I am convinced that the best way to coach condition, stamina, and pace in football should be in a game-based situation.
